Hey! I hope everyone is doing really well! I wanted to share some big news! I was recently interviewed by italki about my work as a Technology Teacher on August 20th, 2025
This recognition means a lot to me because they have noticed that I have been making a positive impact on students' academic success! I am very happy to see that I am blending not only English communication but also technology!
Teaching Beyond English
When I first started teaching on italki, there wasn't a category to teach "Technology," but that didn't stop me! Because I found out that there is a BIG NEED for this type of education!
This is why my teaching goes deeper into
- Bug report writing
- Email writing
- Explaining software code
- Developing software code
- Developing leadership and confidence in IT
This approach doesn't just improve my students' communication skills, but it also advances their careers by learning to effectively communicate with global teams!
Why this interview matters
The fact that italki found my success noteworthy is huge because that means I am helping people grow and succeed in the industry, and that's such a great thing! My ultimate goal for all my students is to walk away knowing they are more prepared for their job today than they were yesterday!
Gratitude
I am thankful for italki for allowing me to share my story and supporting teachers who bring unique experiences to the classroom!
But I want to take the time to thank all my students who have taken the time to take my classes and supported me along the way in this journey, you have all inspired me to become a better educator!
So what's next?
This is just the beginning. My mission is to:
- Educate more IT professionals about effective communication
- Bridge the gap between technology and language learning
- Become a leader who helps others pave their pathway to success in IT
